The Vechtzicht Stud

Our family has owned horses for riding purposes since 1970. In 1978 we bought our first Welsh Mountain pony, called "Astrid", as a riding pony. Her first foal became a well known breeding stallion called "Vechtzicht's Lightfeet". Since than we have bred more than one hundred Welsh Mountain Ponies. Today there are still about twenty ponies at Vechtzicht. They are bred according to the breed discription of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society and are kept under natural conditions.
